Show Me The Money! Andy McDonald Signs Extension.

{Click title for ESPN link}

Not exactly a Zetterberg-ish type contract and salary, but McDonald has reportedly signed on for another 4 year tour of duty with the young, but talented Blues. The deal is worth $18.8 million. St. Louis has been decimated by injuries this season, with Andy missing the past 35 games with a broken leg after amassing 18 points in the first 16 games of the season. Other key Blues who have joined McDonald at the infirmary are Eric Johnson, Eric Brewer and Paul Kariya. The Blues have definitely set themselves up nicely with a great young foundation for the future with some solid veterans as well - including McDonald. Unfortunately, Blues' faithful will have to be patient as with injuries and their developing youth this has not been their season, but the future is very bright indeed.
